Potter Street Station

About: The Potter Street Train Station is a Victorian-era landmark in Saginaw that served as a massive transportation hub during Michigan's lumber boom. Designed by architect Bradford Lee Gilbert and opened in 1881, the red-brick depot was once one of the state's largest rail gateways before closing in the 1980s. Today, the station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and dedicated preservation teams are actively working to restore the building and protect its architectural legacy for future generations.
